Japji Sahib & Nitnem

Overview

This policy applies to all prayer apps published by App Oven Studios, including Japji Sahib and Nitnem. Both are clean, distraction-free apps for reading and reciting Sikh banis. They are entirely offline and do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Data We Collect

We collect nothing. Our apps do not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.

Data Stored on Your Device

Each app saves your reading progress locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted to us or any third party
• Can be cleared at any time using the Reset button inside the app
• Is deleted when you uninstall the app

Internet Access

Our apps do not connect to the internet. All content — Gurmukhi, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, and English translations — is included within each app itself.

Third-Party Services

Our apps do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or tracking services. English translations are sourced from sikhizm.com and nitnemsahib.com and are bundled within the apps. Full attribution is available under Settings → Translation Sources.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this policy, the updated version will be published at this URL.
